Guests

How do I create an account?
Fill in the registration form, accept the terms and conditions, and you're set.
How do I find and book a pool?
Search by area and stay type from the homepage. Click 'Book now' or 'Instant booking' and follow the steps.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card for now. Bit, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more are coming.
How do I cancel a booking?
Go to 'My bookings', pick the booking and click 'Cancel'. See our cancellation policy for details.
Is there a deposit at booking?
Yes — a deposit is taken to secure the booking and ensure reliability.
What if there's a problem on site?
Contact the host directly from the booking page. If the host is unreachable, reach out to our support.
What are the rules to follow?
Each owner sets their own rules. Smoking, pets, parties, loud music etc. are determined by the owner only.
How do I leave a review?
After your stay you'll receive an email to rate the host and leave a comment.
How do I contact the host before or during the stay?
Use the messaging from the booking page or click 'Contact host'.
Can I book at the last minute?
Yes — if the host enabled instant booking and a slot is available.
What if I'm not satisfied?
Contact the host or our support team — we'll find a solution.
Are there any extra fees?
Optional add-ons (drinks, towels, etc.) may be offered. Every fee is displayed clearly before booking.

Hosts

How do I create a host account?
Fill in the registration form, accept the terms and digitally sign the contract.
How do I add my pool?
Go to 'My listings' → 'Add listing'. Fill in description, photos, prices, then publish. Our team reviews before publication.
What are the eligibility criteria?
The pool must comply with Israeli legislation, Ministry of Health hygiene standards, and applicable safety rules.
What service fees apply?
A 10% service fee on each booking, automatically deducted at payment.
How do I set rates and availability?
Define rates in the 'Pricing' section: per night, sliding scales, per-guest. You can also set specific rates for particular periods.
How am I notified of a new booking?
You receive an email and an SMS for every new booking.
How do I receive payments?
Depending on the mode you choose: full collection via the site (bank transfer after the stay) or direct payment (cash, transfer, Bit).
What is the cancellation policy?
Compliant with Israeli Consumer Protection Law: 14-day withdrawal right, 7 business days notice. Cancellation fee 5% or 100 ₪ (whichever is lower). See dedicated page for details.
What if I have a dispute with a guest?
Contact support at admin@getpool.co.il, WhatsApp +972 58-663-2933 or phone. Provide explanation and evidence for mediation.
What documents do I need to provide?
No document is legally required, but a copy of the Teudat Zehut is requested.
How should I price my listing?
Start with the wizard step 7 simulator — it suggests a range based on lot size, capacity, and area. Hourly: 80-200 ILS/h by region (Tel Aviv > Galilee). Overnight: 1500-4500 ILS/night for villa+pool. Enable weekend price (+15-30%) and high season (July-August, +10-20%). Adjust based on occupancy: <30% → lower 10%; >70% → raise 5%.
Photo quality requirements?
Minimum 8 photos, ideal 15-20. The first photo (cover) drives 80% of clicks. Tips: • Horizontal, 3:2 or 16:9 ratio • Natural light (golden hour) • Full clean pool + tidy equipment • No people (privacy) • No filters / no watermarks • Min 1920×1280 px A pro photographer (~500 ILS) typically lifts bookings by 20-40%.
How does search ranking work?
Algorithm blends: (1) listing quality (photos, info completeness, response rate), (2) performance (accept rate, avg rating, host cancellation rate), (3) availability (calendar fresh, competitive price), (4) geo proximity. To climb: reply <2h, keep calendar fresh, ask for reviews after each stay, decline less than 10% of requests.
Sync with Airbnb/Booking?
Yes, via iCal. In /host/listings/[id]/calendar, paste your Airbnb/Booking iCal export URL. Auto-sync every 15 min. GetPool also exposes its own iCal for the other platforms. Beware: double-bookings = 150 ILS penalty + ranking hit.
KYC verification process?
Required before first full-flow booking (platform-charged). Need: ID card (תעודת זהות) + selfie. Manual review <24 business hours. Data encrypted (AES-256), kept 7 years (IL legal), deletable after that. No KYC needed for cash-paid mode.
What fiscal status to pick?
Your GetPool revenue is taxable. Israel options: • עוסק פטור (VAT-exempt sole proprietor): <120k ILS/yr, simple, yearly filing • עוסק מורשה (classic): >120k ILS/yr, 18% VAT to collect, monthly/bi-monthly filing • חברה בע״מ (company): tax-efficient above 350k ILS/yr We generate חשבונית מס via EZcount. Talk to an accountant (רואה חשבון).
Can I add cleaning or extras?
Yes, wizard step 7 → Add-on services. Up to 10: cleaning (flat), towels, BBQ, hookah, DJ, heated jacuzzi, etc. 4 pricing modes: flat, per night, per guest, per night × guest. Guests see them as checkboxes on the quote. Add-ons are NOT part of GetPool commission — 100% yours.
